Cocoa (or coffee) in the morning!
Follow the steps below to earn $500 for your expedition. It only takes 20 minutes a day!
1) Get a friend (or your team) to help.
2) Ask your teacher (or principal) for permission to set up a table near the front doors of your school for 20 minutes before classes start.
3) Assemble the following supplies:
- 1 large electric kettle or a hot water thermos (maybe ask to borrow one from your cafeteria)
- Hot cocoa mix and instant coffee (or just buy a big box of coffee from the coffee shop)
- Marshmallows, sugar, creamer, stir sticks
- Cups and lids
- Paper towels (for spills)
- A money can (start with money in the can so that you can make change)
4) Make a Facebook invite telling everyone to kick-start their school-day at your coffee stand.
4) Wear your World Challenge t-shirt. Make an awesome sign (‘$1 per cup. Donations welcome!’).
5) Plug in the kettle and spread out your goods (for extra cash, think about selling donuts as well).
