A World Challenge expedition is unlike anything else you might do in high school.

On a World Challenge expedition, you will build your own adventure.  You will design your own itinerary, earn towards the cost of your travel and manage your own expedition (with supervision from a qualified World Challenge Leader).  You will explore rural villages and off-the-beaten-path mountainsides.  You’ll build schools, climb volcanoes, swim in waterfalls, ride elephants.  You will do things that you never even imagined.

This blog is designed as a repository of preparation hints and success stories to help you stay on track between now and your departure.

Remember that your expedition will be a team effort, so your preparation should happen as a team (though earning towards your expedition is generally more effective when the bulk of it is done independently – whether it be through a part time job or babysitting).  Ask your teacher for help.  Call the World Challenge office if you have questions.  Check out our Facebook page and use your online “My World Challenge” site!
